After years of planning and months of building, Yarrabilba Veterinary Hospital will soon become a reality when the new hospital opens its doors on Monday 10th July.
This modern purpose built facility has been designed by architects who are experts in the field of Veterinary Hospital design. Special attention has been made to maximise the comfort of inpatients with sound proofing techniques, ducted air conditioning and heated kennels. These design comforts have been complemented by the latest veterinary equipment including sealed operating theatres, an imaging room for ultrasound, digital x-ray and dental x-ray. The hospital will also offer advanced dentistry and surgery capabilities.
This means that owners can be assured their loved pets will receive the best levels of care by staff who love what they do, right here in Yarrabilba.
The owners of the new facility, local veterinarians Dr Andrew Paxton-Hall and Dr. Chris Corcoran of Tamborine Mountain and Canungra Veterinary Surgeries, already have many years of experience caring for animals in the area with their friendly staff. The new owners are keen to bring their personalised and caring style of practice to the new facility.
The hospital will also offer a quiet separate luxury cat boarding facility that has a magnificent view through tinted windows of Yarrabilba. The premium cat boarding facility enjoys morning sun in winter and is air conditioned to ensure constant comfort for our special guests who are cared for by trained veterinary nursing staff.
New puppy owners will have the option of bringing their puppies to puppy training classes in our special puppy preschool area. Experienced staff will help new pet owners to socialise their new best friend and raise an obedient and well-adjusted dog.
Dog owners will also have access to a coin operated hydrobath to wash their own dogs with easy access on site from the large parking area.
The hospital will be open 7 days, from 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Saturday, and 9:00am-12:00 noon on Sundays. Consultations will be by appointment. An after hours service will also be available.
