Digital X-rays allow us to immediately diagnose skeletal injuries such as fractures, and chronic bone and joint disease, for example, arthritis. We have state of the art digital X-ray and digital dental X-ray machines. While X-rays are extremely useful for identifying some medical conditions others are more effectively identified using ultrasound.

Ultrasound is particularly useful in assessing possible disease in internal organs such as the liver, kidneys, spleen and intestines. There are many disease processes in which the organs appear “normal” on X-rays, whereas ultrasound can detect changes associated with such diseases.
