Zeus’ legendary surgery

Zeus the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (commonly known as a Staffy), who belongs to our nurse Maneka, unfortunately ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

Lucky for Zeus, at Tamborine Mountain, Canungra and Yarrabilba Vets we’re well-prepared to treat this kind of injury, which is one of the most common injuries we see in dogs in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The best solution for Zeus was surgery, so our experienced staff carefully administered the anaesthetic and prepared the surgery site.

Veterinary orthopaedic specialist Dr Geoff Robbins was brought in to operate, ably assisted by our own Dr Sarani.

After a successful ACL surgery Zeus took it easy in our state of the art recovery ward.

We’re pleased to report that Zeus is making a good recovery under the watchful eye of his human, Maneka!
